Day +47
Well, there hasn't been much happening up to this point, however, yesterday Bill started getting a rash all over his stomach and back. I knew instantly what this was. He had started getting Graft vs Host disease. The Drs. explained to us that often this is a good thing if it is mild to moderate. If it gets severe, it can cause real problems. It is very common in allogenic transplant patients(not related donor) like Bill. I talked with the transplant nurse this am and she said since he has an appt. tomorrow, they would evaluate treatment then. Yea, another pill to remember. Hopefully we will have alot of answers tomorrow. Please say a prayer for this to be a mild case and pass soon. It has left him really feeling yucky and tired. We're praying for the best.

I didn't get that, but then my sister was my match. I knew many others who did get mild cases, and one who even had a terrible reaction, but they were all ok. Just something you have to get through I guess. On another note, thrilled to hear Jillian is at home on bed rest now! God is watching over everyone. Praise His holy name.
