Day +49

Well, just when we thought we were making progress, BAM! Bill's doctors definitely diagnosed him with Graft vs Host disease. He looks like he has a horrible case of the measles all over the trunk of his body(front & back). He is now on a high dose of steroids to help with this. As he gets better, they will start taking him off of them. As if that wasn't enough, he also has a blood clot in his left calf. It had been hurting him, so they did an ultra-sound yesterday and found it. I now give him a shot of levonox in his stomach every day for 21 days. Great. On the up side, his blood counts were all good and holding steady. Hopefully all these extra things will stop before long. He really felt rotten over the weekend, but today is a much better day. Please keep praying for him. We see the Dr. again next Tues. Three of our grandchildren start school tomorrow. We have two 1st graders and one 3rd grader. Reese is in Pre-K. Lawson is the lone baby and will be one on Aug. 26. He is starting Day Care so his Mommy can teach. Can't believe the summer is already gone. The up side of that is FOOTBALL season. Boomer Sooner!!

Ahww, so sorry for the G vs H. I've heard it's miserable. Shouldn't be anything to get to worried about though, just a pain in the booty to deal with. The next year will probably be a lot of little bumps and hills to get over, but soon you'll be good as new and all this will just be a bad memory in the back of your mind. And football season WILL help get yer mind off things. My shout however is, "Gooooooo Biiiiigggg Reeeeedddd. Go Big Red!
