Day +63

Moving on along. Bill went to the Dr. yesterday. Had a great check-up. Blood counts were good. Actually, he has started building red cells. Dr. Selby was pleased. Lifted his restrictions on fresh fruits, but raw veggies are still off limits. The predisone for the graft vs host is making him really nervous and he can't sleep well, so he cut the amount down some. It makes him really hyper, it's not all bad though, he is even cleaning out his dresser drawers, which he wouldn't even think about doing. I'm trying to think of more cleaning for him. His leg with the blood clot is much, much better. Only three more shots in his belly!! Dr. Selby made his day when he told him to lay off of OU games in Sept., but if everything goes well, he can start going to the games in Oct. That includes the OU-TX game. He got a thumbs up on that one! He was so excited(me too). We've got four more weeks to get stronger with no complications. He's moving closer to the 100 day mark. God does answer prayers. Please remember Dawn Henson and her family in your prayers.

Junior,
I'm sitting over at Jarrod and Kelley's babysitting Brennan. YaYa is at David and Jillian's with Alexander. And I wondered if you all were crazy with all of that "grandkids" talk all of these past years! We are so blessed to have great kids and grandkids, as we know you all are as well. Your familly is also so blessed to have such an awesome Pappa Wheelie for their grandfather.....and not a bad grandmother in Sis as well! We are so thankful for your progress and the way you've kicked this cancer's butt! Keep up the fight and know we are in your corner.
Love you, Jerry and Lisa
