Day +91

Bill went for his weekly check-up yesterday. He got his PICC line removed(his permanent IV line). He was so excited. Actually, we both were. I had to flush both lines each morning and we had to wrap his arm in plastic before he could shower. His white blood cells had increased some. His blood was OK with the coumadin level this week. Dr. Selby felt everything looked good. Only a few more days until the first big mile stone in his recovery. His 100 day anniversary on Oct. 9th. He has had alot of bumps along the way, but this week I could finally see improvement with his energy level. Of course getting his PICC line out will really help. It kept him so restrained in what he could do. The Dr. said next week he will probably start lower doses on the anti-rejection drugs. We have truly been blessed and alot of it has been everyone's prayers for him. Thank you more than we can ever express.
