Day +87
We're getting closer. We all attended the 28th annual Bone Marrow Transplant Reunion at the OKC Zoo on Sat. What an encouraging event. Bill felt so blessed to be there. Jason, Bridget, Nick and families along with Bill's sister Martha came also. It was so neat to see all the transplant team and nurses that took such good care of Bill. There were over 400 attending. Included with that were 77 transplant patients. The oldest transplants went back to 1987 and up. It was remarkable to see how well these people look! Bill and another lady who had her transplant in Aug. 2010 were the two latest. Dr. Selby spoke and introduced each patient and told the date of their transplant. It really gave him a shot in the arm. He's still trying to get the coumadin level right. His blood was way to thin last week. Hopefully Wed. when we go back, it will be better. Dr. Selby has started cutting down on his dosages of anti-rejection drugs. We just go from week to week and do what they tell us. He is getting more strength and getting out more. Hopefully, we'll have a good check-up Wednesday.

Junior,
Man, you are on the home stretch! Day 100 will be an exciting day and be a mark on the calendar to smile about! We are heading up to SL this weekend to catch Bradford and the Rams. We just came from the Molini's for "Survivor Night" and Kim said to tell you "HEY"...that's Husker talk for "wasup"! She is such a trooper and looking at her life is a great inspiration to us, and I know you as well. Can't wait to see you guys soon. Go Sooners, Texas Sucks, etc. etc. etc. :) Jerry and Lisa
