Bill is now at Day+4 after transplant. His blood levels are falling, especially his white blood cell count. The doctors say it will continue to fall throughout the week. This is when he can be really prone to infections. He is feeling good other than being really tired because of his counts. He still pushes himself to do his walking and exercises everydeay. He is a real trooper. The doctor said this morning that everything is thumbs up right now. We celebrated the 4th with him at the hospital. Bridget made a birthday cake that we all enjoyed. The kids took Dede out to dinner at Bricktown. We don't know what we would do without our wonderful kids and grandkids helping us out. We will continue to wait and pray that this match will start to graft and Bill will be on the road to recovery. Thank you so much for your prayers and kindness. He really enloys reading messages from everyone.

So hap, hap, happy that the only side affect so far is fatigue. That is wonderful!!!! Glad you were able to celebrate the 4th, even though it was in the hospital. I had my transplant during my anniversary and Christmas. It was difficult but only 1 out of the many, many I've had since. So worth it! Just think, next year you'll celebrate the 4th again and look back on this time as a memory of a difficult time you once went through. Praying for you daily.
