Day+21
We are finally getting to go home today. There was too much paper work and medical things to get organized to make it yesterday. He was up and already showered with his shorts and trade mark "Tommy Bahama" shirt on ready to go. However, the nurse said it will probably be after lunch before we can get away. Dr. Selby will be in later to talk with him. Bill will be seeing him every Wed. for some time. I told him it waS cool weather when he came in, but he won't be ready for what it feel likes now. HOT! He said he didn't think he could get so excited about walking around his own yard. I have alot to comprehend being a caregiver, which is going to be a challenge in itself. I think I make him nervous about being his nurse. I told him he better me really nice to me. Thanks to everyone again for all the thoughts and prayers. We'll keep you informed on his progress.
