Day +27

Bill had his first visit back to the doctor today after being released from the hospital. He had quite a day and his tail is dragging tonight. The check-up went well. His blood counts are still coming up. YEA! The transplant team said everything is progressing on schedule right now. He had to get a bag of IV fluid-he was a little de-hydrated. We are counting down to the 100 day time mark. That's the big day. Graft vs Host disease is still something we have to watch for during this time period, but so far, so good. He goes again next Wed., and they possibly may let him go into the office a couple days a week for 1-2 hours. A little at a time. Jason has him all set up at home so he can work from here which really helps. I don't know what we would do without our wonderful kids helping like they do. They have been a blessing. Bill misses seeing everyone so much and can't wait until he can get back in to circulation(even if it is with a mask).
