Day+9
Here we are, another Saturday. At least the sun is shining today. Today is also our first grandson, Logan's 9th birthday. We were also in the hospital 9 years ago today. Papa Bill called and sang Happy Birthday to him this norning and I went to his party last night. He's a special young man!(as all our grandchildren are). Bill had his shoulder aspirated this morning and the fluid sent off for a culture to make sure there's no infection. We won't know results until probably Mon. They started antibotics as a precaution. The Drs. sound that the source of his shoulder pain is often caused by someone that has had a transplant. It's called a bone necrosis. It will just take time to run its course. His counts are still fluctuating. The next 5-6 days are very crucial for infection. He is still in good spirits and feeling ok. Please keep praying for him to make a good progress this coming week and for the pain in his shoulder to get better.
