Day+15
Well, so much for the good days. Yesterday and last night were no fun. We have found out that you don't get good things easily-you have to pay the price. He has been running fever for the last 24 hours and his bad knee is swollen twice its normal size. Drs. think it could possibly be gout. They will drain fluid from it later today to check. His doctors say this is common for some transplant patients. You know Bill always keeps things interesting. He has been in alot of pain with the knee though. On the bright side, his counts have started to rise and and we are praying this is a sign of engraftment. Drs tell us if it wasn't for the ortho issues, he is at 100%. He really needs your prayers at this stage of his journey. Please remember him.
