Bill received his transplant this afternoon. He tolerated it well. Jason, Bridget, Nick and I got to be with him. Martha was also here with us. It was totally amazing to watch the two bags of new cells going into his body. We can only hope we can meet this wonderful person who so unselfishly gave this new life to Bill. May God always bless him. Dr. Selby explained everything to us(which was alot to absorb) as to what will happen now. Every day will be a step closer to to his new health. We can't say enough about the kindness of his nursing staff , Dr. Selby and the transplant team here. What an amazing place. Please continue to pray for Bill as he continues with his battle, but we're one step closer. We wish everyone a fun July 4th holiday. God Bless America!
