Day +13

The doctor gave us a smiley face today!  Bill's counts have dropped to the level they are looking for. Now, we just need them to start a climb. We know it'sn going to be slow going, but worth the wait. His levels may even dip further, which makes him real tired. His immune system is pretty wiped out now. He's listening to everyone talk about how hot it is outside and thinks he sure would lilke to be in the pool now. His shoulder has made alot of improvement pain wise. That's a blessing that he isn't so uncomfortable. It's still a waiting game that we're going to have to endure, but there are others here in the same boat. He says he's the nurses favorite patient. Imagine that! He send his love to everyone that has followed his progress. Please remember him in prayer.

Praise the Lord! I am glad that things are looking up. Miss you all so much. I did make it to church on Sunday for the 1st time in 3 weeks. It was good to be back. Getting along pretty good. It's slow as Bill knows with his hip, but am getting there. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. Lisa had brought a couple of blogs Sunday and I read them to our church family. May God Keep you in His care. Love ya!

Good Morning Bill and Darla,

I received this quote today and wanted to share it with the you!

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.'  When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.  Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

I am praying for a better day today and know this is a battle and the fight has just begun. And, you will win this battle! YOU CAN DO THIS!! I believe in YOU!
Love you,
your fav sis!!!!

Junior,
A wise coach of mine (and yours) once told me that luck was when preparation meets opportunity. I'm not much on the "luck" part, as coach O'Neal was not either. But, he did prepare us for whatever was thrown our way, and we did meet every "opportunity" with that preparation and desire to win. Unlike those mere games we played, you are in a tough battle, and I know how prepared you are to win this one. God is definitely in control of all that is put before us, and there is NOTHING that HE can not handle......for is is the One that has ultimately prepared us. Stay tough, keep the faith and let's kick this thing in the tail.
I love you bro, Jerry (and Lisa).
